2008 Silverado Driver Door Lock Not Working

Here is my story.

2008 silverado driver door lock not working.

I checked all fuses even 68 relay but still could not find problem i drove 18 miles in 30 degree weather at nite got home and was very confused with this truck. However when it is hot 104 f like it was today the locks do not respond to any of the switches driver front passenger. It is a 2002 honda accord 4cyl special edition. All the other doors lock fine but the front passenger door won t lock by itself.

If they work then you ve narrowed down your problem. The other three door locks work fine when it is not hot. I had already repaired the problem with the driver s door lock switch not working at all. It worked perfectly and then one day it just quit.

I mean it can lock but you have to manually push it down and it locks. What could i do to fix it. They will work fine sometimes others they just seem to barely move or not at all. If the driver door lock switch doesn t work try the passenger door lock switch or any other door.

All other doors are ok but the driver door doesn t unlock half of the time. The door lock solenoids are integrated into the door latch assembly and are notoriously weak. If they do not then you may have a bigger issue. You will need to replaced the door lock latch assembly for the affected door.
